“Good Deeds and Memories”: Highlights of Elementum’s Social Project at the Start of the Full-Scale Invasion

At the onset of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, we allocated UAH 1 million to the NGO "Initiative E+" for the purchase of tactical medical supplies and UAH 2 million for the needs of our defenders.

Throughout the following month, we sought opportunities to contribute and stand alongside everyone fighting for a free Ukraine and its values. This gave birth to the project "Good Deeds and Memories" — driven by the belief that every step matters on the road to victory. Here, we summarize our achievements and share what we accomplished with the invaluable support of our partners.

  • Support for the National Academy of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. We contributed UAH 240,000 to assist the academy. Border guards are the first line of defense, and their safety often depends on proper technical and material resources. Aid to Caritas Ukraine. UAH 100,000 was sent for humanitarian aid in Starokozache, including flour and oil. Additionally, UAH 300,000 was provided to the “Citizens” Fund to purchase essential equipment in the Odesa region.
  • Protective Gear for Border Guards. We allocated UAH 500,000 for protective equipment, including Kevlar helmets, for the Southern Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. The Mogyliv-Podilskyi Border Guard Detachment, a recipient of this assistance, celebrated its 30th anniversary in May. This effort was in collaboration with the "Nashe Podillya" organization and KNESS.
  • Cultural Support. We contributed UAH 100,000 to the “Museum Crisis Center” fund. The recipient, “Insha Osvita”, works with museums in regions impacted by hostilities, focusing on small towns and villages in eastern and southern Ukraine. Culture and history inspire us, giving meaning and strength for progress. We are immensely grateful to museum workers, volunteers, and patrons for their dedication to preserving Ukraine's cultural heritage.
  • Environmental Preservation. We supported the Ukrainian Nature Conservation Group (UNCG) with UAH 50,000 for their emergency fund to protect natural reserves and parks endangered by war.
  • Protective Equipment for Mykolaiv Defenders. Partnering with Mykolaiv IT Cluster, we financed UAH 500,000 for helmets and bulletproof vests for the territorial defense of Mykolaiv and its region.
  • Medical Aid for Chornomorska Hospital. We facilitated the procurement of essential medicines for the Chornomorska Hospital in collaboration with Leleka Foundation. The necessary medications, including anesthetics, antibiotics, and infusion solutions, were located in Zakarpattia and promptly delivered.
  • Support for Odesa Military Hospital. We allocated UAH 250,000 for the purchase of surgical and trauma medical supplies. Medical Kits for Defenders. With over UAH 600,000 in funding, the “Vilna Ukraina” Charitable Fund provided special medical kits to defenders in Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Khmelnytskyi regions.
  • Aid to the "SMILE" Charitable Foundation. A contribution of UAH 150,000 was used to meet urgent needs of the territorial defense, including equipment and over 50 uniforms for defenders in Kropyvnytskyi.

Our project exemplifies the belief that united efforts toward a common goal significantly contribute to victory. We extend heartfelt gratitude to all partners, volunteers, and contributors who made this possible. Together, we move closer to a free and peaceful Ukraine!
