About Us
Our Story
Since our establishment, we have focused on developing and operating solar power plants in Ukraine. By 2020, more than 500 MW of installed capacity had commenced commercial generation across six regions of the country. In 2021, we expanded our portfolio with the addition of Dnistrovska WPP — our first wind farm in the Odesa region. Phase I, with a capacity of 40 MWp, was commissioned in May 2021, and the launch of Phase II, with 60 MWp, was scheduled for June 2022. Despite the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, we successfully commissioned Phase II and began commercial operations in July 2023. By the end of 2023, our total operational portfolio had reached 636 MWp, while we continued to add new development projects to our pipeline. As the company grew, so did our team. Elementum now operates from three offices in London, Kyiv, and Odesa, with a dedicated team of over 70 professionals.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
To provide reliable clean energy via sustainable and renewable sources.
OUR CORE BELIEFS
Renewable energy is poised to become the world’s primary source of electricity.
Green transition and innovative technologies will be the main path to de-carbonization and energy security.
Helping to deliver this future is both a business and social mission for us.
OUR CORPORATE VISION
LEAD
We aim to lead in the transition to a sustainable energy future. Our highly-skilled and motivated team pushes boundaries to solve complex renewable energy challenges.
DELIVER
The energy chain is built on reliability. We deliver on our commitments to provide clean, reliable power. Our corporate culture is built on transparency and accountability. We work with partner governments, contractors and customers in a collaborative and constructive manner.
INNOVATE
Technological change is driving rapid efficiency gains in low carbon energy production and the countries of our presence pose unique challenges. Our team operates on the basis of continuous improvement and early adoption of emerging trends in operation of renewable energy, prepares new projects for construction and supplies low carbon electricity to the grid.
EXECUTE
Our team has demonstrated a clear ability to consistently execute on complex renewable energy installations efficiently and expeditiously. In addition to consolidating a portfolio of 28 solar plants over two years, we hit our goal to commission our first wind project, the 40 MW Dnistrovska WPP, in 2021 and the 60 MW Phase 2 of Dnistrovska WPP during the martial law. We actively invest into new wind projects and aim to take active role in Ukraine’s energy rebuild.
